Humanitarian Aid
1. Support to Rural Schools :
SEO has chosen schools from rural areas that lack educational and infrastructure facilities. The aim is to provide these schools with necessary educational materials and support them financially and or materially to build and maintain the infrastructure of the schools.

SEO handed over a computer and a printer provided by Ms. Emily Keefe (U.S.A.)
and General Knowledge and English Language books to Mahendra Secondary School,
located at Sanga of Kabhre district. SEO intends to keep on supporting other
schools in different ways in future.
2.Donation for Medical Treatment:
SEO intends to be an intermediate between people in need of help and people with philanthropic intentions.

Mrs. Saraswati Thapa, a cancer patient, was handed over Rs. 15000 donated by Mr. Paul Hioy (U.S.A.) for her treatment on January 8, 2005.
3. Medical Support:
9 large boxes consisting of syringes 5406 pieces, gauge 2086 pieces, bandages 620 pieces, Plaster of Paris100 pieces, Paracetamol 20,000 tablets, Ibrufen 10, 000 tablets, Diclofenac 9,000 tablets,Flogofenac 50 tubes, Aspirin 16 packets, Prednisene 4 packets, Contramal 2 packets and Nimesulide 2 packets were handed over to Dr. Shashi Sharma, Coordinator of People’s Movement Injured Relief Fund, Teaching Hospital. The first lot of 4 boxes was handed over on April 30 and the second lot of 5 boxes was handed over on May 16, 2006.

The relief materials were donated through the initiative
of an Italian national, Dr.Michele Nagliati. More than 200 Italians donated
for it. Of these more than 120 belonged to the Department of Oncology, Provincial
Body for Health Services, Autonomous Province of Trento, Italy.
